Since her late 90s days she's appeared in several movies like The Woods and Blue Car Murder by Numbers Blood and Chocolate. Bruckner began her acting career in 2001 at the age 11 of eleven. In 1999, she appeared in The Bold and the Beautiful show on the daytime and also in various TV pilots. Bruckner was just 15 when she landed her first big role as a teenage girl for the film Blue Car (2002). In the film, Bruckner performed the role of a young high-school student having an illicit affair in a relationship with David Strathairn. Roger Ebert, a film critic, said that Bruckner was able to perform the challenging role with total conviction. Bruckner received the Independent Spirit Award nomination for "Best Female Lead" for this part. She was raised by three siblings and a brother. Hungarian was her mother tongue and she rehearsed it often to maintain her fluency. Bruckner was raised in Hollywood, California with a Hungarian mother and a Russian father. The couple been divorced. Her paternal grandfather was German and died in the past. They came into contact in Hungary. They emigrated to America. U.S. through an Italian refugee camp. She has two siblings and an older brother.
